From the beginning, our company was set up with the goal of providing more livelihood to Gawad Kalinga residents and communities. Our dream is to set up GK communities as globally certified organic farms which can produce world-class raw materials for Human Nature products. We have already started work in the very first Human Nature GK Organic Farm in Bulacan in partnership with NGOs that specialize in organic farming and processing.
Currently, we employ GK residents from nearby communities in Quezon City and we provide a fair living wage which is much more than the minimum wage required by law. We also provide our warehouse staff with full benefits and overtime pay in order to promote dignity of work.
Why PRO-ENVIRONMENT ?
Here at Human Nature, we take our responsibility of being nature’s stewards very seriously. We carefully deliberate the impact of all our business decisions on the environment. For example, all our raw materials are thoroughly researched to ensure that they are naturally derived, are not processed using environmentally toxic processes and do not become toxic when released into the environment after you have finished with the product. We also use recyclable bottles in our packaging to minimize our contribution to the country’s overburdened landfills. Finally, our newest catalog is printed on 100% re-cycled paper using mineral-based ink. We also use re-cycled paper on our gift tags.
