I Badly Want them NOW!

Been reading reviews about the HumanHeartNature products for two days time already, you know when you want to purchase a product or be an ambassador of a product, it is necessary to take an effort of checking how the others found it. It is also good to know if there are bad sides of the product, so who else would tell you how it did than reviews, you agree? Reviews are quite helpful and I have been making sure to read reviews in every product, may it be something expensive or just affordable.

So far, I felt like I wanna use HumanHeartNature's products now, as in NOW na! Read lovingsunshine's blog, eliseanplains too and mymaria's as well. Those ladies have been using them and on every review, I could actually sense how they feel about it and I want to experience it badly too. Specially the hair products, I can relate to how eliseanplains expressed about her hairfall because my hair is also like that, I have wavy hair just like her and the feeling was mutual when she thinks third of her hair falls when she is in the bathroom and another third when she is in her room. Argh! I just hate it when I see my hair lying on the floors. I want to immediately stop them from falling, I feel like I'll be bald in a week's time. :(

Knowing about the promising effect of those organic products really gave me hope which leaded me to wanting the HHN's hair products asap.

Will be heading to their office here in Cebu tomorrow... Looking forward to be bringing home my own loot too! :)

Sharin' The Truth About Cosmetics

The Story of Cosmetics, released on July 21st, 2010, examines the pervasive use of toxic chemicals in our everyday personal care products from lipstick to baby shampoo. Produced with Free Range Studios and hosted by Annie Leonard, the seven-minute film by The Story of Stuff Project reveals the implications for consumer and worker health and the environment. It also outlines ways we can move the industry away from hazardous chemicals and towards safer alternatives. The film concludes with a call for viewers to support legislation aimed at ensuring the safety of cosmetics and personal care products.

A Heart Set For The Community

Human Heart Nature has attracted me with those philosophy, those line is calling for my innate Filipino Nature, the patriotic one as well as the environmental one. When I came to MyMaria's site today, there was something which told me to visit the link for Human Heart Nature. It was the love for the country which had struck me at first, then I learned about how to make use of it as a business. A money generating source, I was so glad to hear about it since it has been awhile since I had been daydreaming myself running a business.

Things you need to know as well:

Currently, our products are 100% manufactured in the Philippines, and as much as possible we try to source every raw material here too. Even though we could source many items more cheaply from abroad, we will only import if there is no local availability. All too often, multinational companies (or even Philippine-owned ones) will source their products and raw materials abroad if the price is cheaper by even a few centavos, costing Philippine jobs and sending that money out of our economy forever. But the Philippines is our home and we should support it. We want to invest in Philippine-made products because we are firm believers in our country and our people.

From the beginning, our company was set up with the goal of providing more livelihood to Gawad Kalinga residents and communities. Our dream is to set up GK communities as globally certified organic farms which can produce world-class raw materials for Human Nature products. We have already started work in the very first Human Nature GK Organic Farm in Bulacan in partnership with NGOs that specialize in organic farming and processing.
Currently, we employ GK residents from nearby communities in Quezon City and we provide a fair living wage which is much more than the minimum wage required by law. We also provide our warehouse staff with full benefits and overtime pay in order to promote dignity of work.

Here at Human Nature, we take our responsibility of being nature’s stewards very seriously. We carefully deliberate the impact of all our business decisions on the environment. For example, all our raw materials are thoroughly researched to ensure that they are naturally derived, are not processed using environmentally toxic processes and do not become toxic when released into the environment after you have finished with the product. We also use recyclable bottles in our packaging to minimize our contribution to the country’s overburdened landfills. Finally, our newest catalog is printed on 100% re-cycled paper using mineral-based ink. We also use re-cycled paper on our gift tags.
logois about loving the Philippines, loving the environment and loving our families as we provide only the safest and purest world-class ingredients for them. These are effective AND affordable organic and natural personal care products that feel as good on your skin as they do in your heart. We hope that you will find a sense of peace and purpose knowing that your everyday choices have a positive impact on the poor, our country and our planet.
